On this page you will find information about the campaigns of our member organisations in the run up to the general election and how you can take part.
Sense
Sense are running training events for parliamentary candidates. These events will train parliamentary candidates in:
- - How to ensure disabled people can vote
- - How to make their campaign is accessible
- - How to use appropriate language

United Response
United Response's "Every vote Counts!" campaign aims to give people with learning disabilities the opportunity to learn about how politics affects them and their everyday lives.
United response has also produced a pack to help make the democratic process more accessible to those with learning disabilities.

Mencap
Mencap is calling on all politicians to make their election campaigns more accessible by cutting down on jargon and using easy read and other accessible forms of communication.
MPs signing up to Mencap's "Get My Vote" campaign will also be pledging support for acting on the issues that matter to people with a learning disability.
